The Buffy Boards on TWOP
I've been enjoying the fora on TWOP lately, but I'm kind of disgruntled. They have a very strict spoiler policy (none allowed but in one place), and I respect that. Just because I read everything doesn't mean everyone has to. And it's a lot easier to not mention something than to forget something that was mentioned.
Some inconsiderate persons started hinting about spoilers in discussion about an upcoming episode. How detailed the hints were, I have no idea. It was enough to made the moderators livid, however.
So they shut down the spoiler thread and have become... touchy on the subject. I get the touchyness, they're probably getting a lot of bitching and there's nothing more aggravating than trying to make something nice and getting whined at about it.
Thing is, I agree with the bitchers (I just don't want to say anything there, because I'll get smacked down like everyone else). It's all very unpleasant and I wish it would stop.
