So, we saw the Superman IMAX 3D experience yesterday. We overslept for making it in time for the noon showing, so we headed in for thr 3:40. Even arriving an hour and a half in advance, we found it sold out, so we got tickets for the 7:15 and wandered about bookstores and the like. I did like the movie a bit better the second time. I don't think the 20 minutes of 3D really added so much as the general big-screen-ness.
We'd have gone for advance ticket-buying except that internet has been out in the house since the Friday storms and power went out Sunday morning as a squirrel gnawed upon that which should not be gnawed upon (and was electrocuted for his error, poor thing). Power was back by the time we returned. Yay. The Internet did not magically repair itself in the interim though.
Note to customer: No, you were not "on hold for an hour and then hung up on". You were on hold for thirty-two minutes (which, yes, is bad -- but I am only one person today and can only answer one call at a time) and when I picked up, I said "hello" over and over again for a minute (why yes, I do have a timer on the phone) and only then did I disconnect. I am sorry you had to wait, but if you don't stay within earshot of your phone, what do you expect? Also, you have not received "no response at all" to your emails. I know this because I keyed several of those replies myself and as you are clearly in possession of the information mentioned in those emails, I am reasonably sure you recieved them. Fortunately, you are under the impression this department is much larger than it is, and thus think you are slandering persons other than the one you are speaking to. Still, glad I was able to clear up your problem.
