Hi all
Sorry, due to personal issues I have not gotten out an invite to the July 22nd game scheduled for this Saturday. Several of the ST's have asked that we take a head count on who can attend a game this Saturday. We plan on running the dark age game with your current character (save for the few who have requested NPC's). Let us know if you can make the game. (That is besides the people who have written to let us know they were coming. :-)

Registration usually opens at 4:00 PM for game start at 5:00 PM.

The site is the Fleetwood Musuum at the Vermuele Mansion.

My boss has just determined a useful thing! I was unable to adjust my chair yesterday because it is not a spinny chair! It's lever adjusted.

The facilities people who delivered it told me it was a spin-adjusted chair and I just took their word for it. But they were wrong. And now I am taller. Yay.

Dammit! I really wanted to be at the Dark Ages game too. I never get to wear those costumes anymore...but with T sick, and on such short notice, it's just not happening.

That's been the date for a while

We settled on the date sometime in May, I think. It's just that announcements don't seem to go out with any kind of regularity. And I live too far away from the head ST / have too much personal stress to try to take over communications duties.

I never got a single e-mail telling me the date. I got two e-mails after the last game, the Sunday following the game, but nothing else. Hell, I was never even given points for a new character.

I'm not blaming you at all--this isn't your fault and I know that--never meant to imply otherwise. But I'm hot and cranky and I never hear about anything with Distant Mirror anymore until the week of the game. And when I'm hot and cranky and feeling just icky from the heat (humidity is a migraine trigger too), I end up taking things personally and get pissy about it. I'm sorry for being pissy all over your lj.

I didn't mean to come off defensive. I'm as frustrated with the low communication level as the players are. I wasn't at all offended.

Looks like Petey's going to postpone for poor projected attendance anyway.

Can't make it, sorry. One of the top rules of running a LARP; less notice means less players. Had I known about this sooner I would have ensured my attendance.

Believe me, I'm not so sympathetic myself

We've only known the date for two months. Of course the announcement needed to go out the Monday night before the game...

It's a good thing I'm not fighting pride of ownership on this one. RennGames hurt enough.
