Gacked from [info]rhopalocerienne:
Directions: Go to popculturemadness.com and find the Greatest Hits for the year you turned 18. Cleverly note that this is totally US-centric and play along only if you're okay with that. Select the first 50. Bold the ones you like. Strike out the ones you hate. Italicize the ones you are familiar with but neither like nor hate. Leave the ones you don't know as is.

'90 was a good year, for the most part. I'd say that DM's Violator is one of my favorite albums ever, Faith No More’s The Real Thing is amazingly underrated, and Joey is just a great freaking song. And with the amount of cheesy yet amusing dance music on the list, I’m having high school dance flashbacks.

I took a look at '96, and the first five songs were by Olivia Newton John/John Travolta, Los Del Rio (AAAAAAAAAAAAAA), Ricky Martin, 2Pac, and Celine Dion.

Gak. I'll take The Humpty Dance any day (for cheesalicious reasons, but at least that's something)
Feh. I like your year better than mine ('91).
Of course, after doing that, I realized that I used the wrong year. Should have been 1989.
