A Passionate Donut

So says the happy email:

As Passion for Winning week is end, we would like to thank all those who participated and special congratulations to all of the WINNERS!

On this last day, we wanted to share in delicious treats and inspiring thoughts. However, there are a few rules that come along with each treat.

Again, thank you for your participation and HAVE FUN!!!!!

I did not win, but the donut is its own reward.

A Passionate Quote

  • Each treat is accompanied by a "Winning Quote of Inspiration".

  • Each person must take one donut and its plate.

  • At the bottom of the plate you will find a quote that should be shared with other team members.

  • A few of these plates have very special messages.

  • Should you find that you have the "special message" plate be the first to find myself and say "Week Passion Happy For"

Week Passion Happy For?

*blink*

No verb this sentence.

Unscrambled (and presumably adding in "Winning" from the plate), it becomes "Happy Passion for Winning Week", in which case "Have a..." becomes the implied verb. English a complexed and nuanced language is.

They've done their job. Now it's up to Customer Focus, Valuing Our People, Innovation or Boundarylessness.

I have not felt so nauseated by Corporate Tripe since I saw the TV screens at P&G NTC, which mostly broadcast (as I put it) Proctorganda.

How do you put up with it?

I am so very glad that my group's suggested team-building activities included a curling lesson, a Pewabic pottery tour and tile-painting session, and a trip to the bowling alley. I'm almost more glad that they later devolved into "maybe next year" ("almost," because bowling always means beer and I'd kind of like to try curling).
