Sometimes you kind of forget how public cubicle farms really are. I sit on a reasonably busy hallway and, of course, cubicles are open to the hall.

A co-worker (from another department; I don't know him really) just stopped to compliment me on my posture. He said he always notices when he walks by my cubicle that I am sitting straight the way his physical therapist keeps nagging him to do. He's impressed.

I suppose if random passers-by need to notice something about my work habits, good posture is as good as anything. It's just a little funny.

A lot of the posture thing is that my chair tilts back too far if I lean back, but J. Random Co-worker is not the first to notice this. [info]arkibet and [info]catwithbell used to think it was amusing to balance pennies on my shoulders as I typed to (a) see how long it took me to notice and (b) to goggle at the fact that they didn't slide off.

So... hooray for posture?

In entirely unrelated news, I have an account with facebook now. In case anyone cares.
