I feel a little guilty ripping a webcomic, but I needed this as an icon.

I'm not 100% sold on the color and text effects on this icon, but it's a pretty good start. I don't actually caption icons all that often, but this phrase just kind of leaped out at me when I saw the image.

So I've driven my brand new car to work every morning this week. I clearly need to get those clear plastic mats for the driver and passenger seat floors. The carpeting's a bit pale. I am sure in a year I won't care, but for now...

Gencon is next week. In order to not work on my character sheets earlier this week, I created this nifty Convention Listing at upcoming.org. Really, check it out -- my OCD is mighty when I am avoiding other work!

The display via google calendars does not 100% work, as events with times on them (as opposed to all-day events) show only on their first day instead of across all days of the event (they still show on the agenda view properly for some reason). It seems to pick up new events, but even when I went back and corrected events to be all-day multi-day they stay displayed wrong. It's still pretty cool, though.

Be amazed at my amazing sorting and categorizing skills! Plus, it's something other people could add their events to, if they wanted...

I've been trying to sort through the gazillion icons I've made so I can someday post up the ones I've made over the last year.

And then I stumbled on this guy, who I moved over to leave a little more blackspace:

All I could think of was "Have you guys seen Taxes? He was supposed to meet me here..."

Whaddya think?

Not a whole lot more showtimes for X-Men: The Last Stand yet. I'm holding on to my feeling that the list of showtimes will flesh out on Thursday.

So why the post?

According to IGN we should credit-watch

...At the theater this weekend, when the credits roll, when the audiences begins to filter out of the exits... keep your seat. And then, perhaps, share this little secret with a few of your friends: the movie isn't over.

We don't want to spoil anything for you, but we want you to know that the scene that follows isn't your typical post-credits tack-on. It's a coda for one of the main characters. The scene is maybe 30 seconds in length, but it's enough. And it will surely be one of the more talked moments in the fan community...

Oh, and also, icon. I haven't gotten around to re-organizing and adding the new icons so I can put them at karmakaze.org, so I just uploaded this. It won't be there too long, so those who might like to snag, do it now.
